Passion at Conduit Coffee Roasters

How can you tell if any culture is thriving?  Usually, we take a look what’s happening with our youth, right? They signify the health of the next generation.

This past weekend, my belief that the Seattle’s coffee scene is thriving was affirmed when I attended Conduit Coffee Company’s fall party off Westlake Avenue.

Conduit Coffee Company owner Jesse Nelson.

Jesse Nelson the man behind Seattle’s newest coffee roasting company is passionate about his coffee. The former home-roaster used to write grants for living but turning his passion for coffee into a new career has been even better for him. And his coffee has been noticed by the coffee community. Conduit Coffee Company’s espresso took 2nd Place at Seattle Coffee Fest last month going up against some well-known veterans across the West.

“It’s great to be involved with the coffee scene (here in Seattle),” said Nelson. “We are so thrilled with the success and compassion of the coffee industry – and to be able to come into this well-educated market,” he added.
