Preserve and Gather To Open in Greenwood

It’s always exciting to welcome a new cafe to Seattle’s coffee scene. I recently interviewed Kayla and Tess, owners of Preserve and Gather in Greenwood. They are set to open around the first week of November 2015.

Below is my recent interview with Kayla and Tess!

Kayla and Tess want to provide a quality espresso and tea menu as well as light fare food prepared in-house along with creating a large space with a community feel.

They plan to serve pastries that they bake in the morning, light breakfast like yogurt and granola, in the afternoon – toast meals, cold salad, meat and cheese boards, and pickles that they make in-house.

“The openness of crowdfunding helps the business to be successful. Everyone gets to know your story before you open your doors. Reaching out to people through crowdfunding makes them feel like they took part in helping the business to be successful,” says Kayla.
