There are moments when you walk into a place and just say, “Yes! I’m glad I’m here!” That’s what I experienced when I recently spent some time at Ada’s Technical Books and Café on Capitol Hill.
Ada’s Technical Books and Café elevates the Seattle Coffee Scene – not just because of the beautiful space, creative ambiance, and functional luxuries like beautiful tables, an assortment of books, gadgetry, and décor – but because of the pride it has in being what it is: a place for like-minded coffee and tech lovers and dreamers to meet. The place feels good in its own skin.
The space itself is great – it’s always a good idea to connect a coffee shop to a bookstore. I have always loved the coffee shop bookstore concept. I believe it’s a win-win situation for both the owners and the customers. The coffee always goes well with a good book.
As someone who is learning how to <code>, this place was like a warm hug after a long walk on cold Seattle morning. It was welcoming – the staff was friendly, and the coffee… well. the coffee was wonderful.
The fact that they offered Kuma Coffee also meant that this just coffee spot wasn’t just a techie’s dream but a coffee aficionado’s stop as well. This is a must-visit coffee spot for the coffee lover and techie in all of us.
Owners Danielle and David Hulton have created something beautiful here, while putting together a great staff. To David and Danielle: Thank you. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and beautiful space for our community!
Ada’s Technical Books and Cafe – Highly Recommended!
