Bauhaus Coffee in Ballard
Coffee is about the little things…Such as the care it takes for the farmer to pick the juicy cherries. The expertise taken in separating the highest quality beans from the others. The experience the roaster uses to get their profile ever-so right. And finally, for the barista who works on serving coffee beautifully.
The little things matter.
Bauhaus in Ballard seems to understand this small but important fact: Every customer deserves the very best coffee it can provide.
I stopped in recently and visited with Patrick, the resident Barista who provided me with a well-poured latte. I was not disappointed. In fact, I had a wonderful time there. Certainly, Bauhaus is an enjoyable place to chat, read, study, or simply enjoy the coffee that was served to you.
If you are a freelancer or a student living in the neighborhood it’s a great place to work online as it has strong wifi connection and plenty of outlets. The place itself looks great: it looks like an old library with various vintage devices and paintings. I love that they serve a large variety of baked goods, including Mighty-O Donuts. The baristas are always enthusiastic and authentically polite – which is a bif value nowadays.
