I recently ventured just out of Seattle’s borders to Burien where I happily found Burien Press Coffee. It is a handsome coffee bar with a beautiful patio, large bay window, thick wooden tables, and great coffee… and the baristas are friendly too.
While much attention on Seattle coffee is often based on Capitol Hill, Downtown, and places like Pioneer Square and Fremont, the truth is that you can find some amazing coffee spots in the most unlikely places. Burien Press elevates the Seattle Coffee Scene with its attention to detail, passion for customer service, and its light ambiance – but it’s also much more than that. Burien Press, in my opinion, works to bring locals and passersby-ers together. And isn’t that what 90% of coffee is about?
Burien Press serves Olympia coffee beans, which are known for high quality and perfect balance. Their coffee is simply delicious and consistently good. I really like their great ambiance and excellent customer service. Check out the covered lounge area in the back – it’s a great place to chill after a working day with a silky latte in your cup.
