The Specialty Coffee Association of America is coming to Seattle later this month (April 24-27) to host their annual Convention and Expo at the Washington State Convention Center.
With tons of seminars, classes, as well as barista, coffee tasters, latte art competitions, and rows of exhibitors, it’s sure to be a great event that you don’t really want miss.
I recently spoke to Peter Giuliano, the SCAA’s Director of Symposium, and asked him about the SCAA, the organization’s big upcoming event in Seattle, and about the coffee industry in general.
Peter offers a candid interview about the explosion of specialty coffee, and the radical transformation that has occurred in the coffee industry over the last couple of decades in the U.S.
Additionally, he offers sound advice to new and aspiring baristas, coffee shop owners, as well as discusses the exciting emergence of college classes and degrees in coffee.
