Great Seattle Coffee Spots for Kids
Bringing your children along with you to enjoy great coffee doesn’t have to be a drag. In fact, it can be a fun adventure! Most cafes are really good about having items on their menu for children and some even have a dedicated area for kids to hang out. Some of the coffee spots are also in the perfect location to enjoy the surroundings that are ideal for children. Fortunately, Seattle has great kid-friendly coffee shops.

Ampersand Coffee – Alki Beach

Ampersand on Alki is always a fun place to bring kids. Right across from them you’ll find Alki beach which is a great place for your child to run around. Ampersand is really a perfect place to grab some coffee and walk along the shore and skip rocks The proximity to the beach makes this coffee shop kid-friendly by default.
Cloud City Coffee

Cloud Coffee is a great neighborhood coffee spot perfect for everyone – including children. They have a nice little section for children, complete with books!
Tully’s Coffee – Alki Beach

Tully’s Coffee provide a little children table with usually some available children’s items. With an easy-going staff to help you enjoy your time drinking coffee, this is another great spot to enjoy your coffee.
Vivace Espresso – South Lake Union

David, the owner of Vivace Espresso understands that kids need space too. The last time I was at Vivace’s South Lake Union location, they had a chalkboard easel and crayons for your child to enjoy. (Note the picture features their Capitol Hill location.)

Who doesn’t love doughnuts and the beach? They offer some really cool children’s books and a cozy place to snuggle by the fireplace to read to your child.
Fix Coffeehouse – Greenlake

While the Fix in Greenlake is a great coffee shop for adults (especially during happy hour) it is also very family-friendly. Grab your drinks and walk across to enjoy the Greenlake Park’s play area. The location makes for a great kid-friendly coffee shop.
