Walk into Motore Coffee in Downtown Seattle and you get the feeling that you walked into someone’s Italian dream. With a sleek design inspired by Euro motor scooters, easy-on-the-eyes coffee art, the friendliest, talented baristas West of Milan, and you got yourself a café worthy to fly with the best in this town.
Open for nearly seven years in the heart of the city, Motore Coffee sets the standard for modern coffee shop design – and service too. On one end of the café, you have towering windows shadowing a section primarily reserved for black cushioned chairs that seem to dance to the whims of each patron while they peruse the daily paper in comfort.
A Beautiful Seattle Coffee Shop
Like a long voluptuous body, the bar curves to the center of the café, offering a place for locals and regulars to chat with friends, colleagues, and baristas over well-made coffee. On the far end of the café, a row of smooth wooden tables converse with modern walled cushions reminiscent of car seats that make for a comfortable place to perch oneself.
It is a certainly beautiful café which is handsomely accentuated by an actual motor bike and row of helmets that give the place a chic vibe. Motore Cafe, with its sensual curves, spacious interior, motor bike motif, and sleek lines, all seem to celebrate the notion of movement; which is ironic because all I want to do is stay! It is a certainly a camper’s day dream, which means I will be back soon to get duck away and get some work done.
Motore Coffee, serves Cafe Vita beans, a variety sandwiches and doughnuts. If you get the opportunity, a pit stop would be well worth it. It is, by all accounts, a great Seattle coffee shop.
I personally love this place for the exceptional customer service, high quality espresso-based drinks, a great selection of craft beers – what makes it a great place to relax after work – and great music. As I mentioned, the decor has some vintage motorcycle elegance and plenty of seating to work or enjoy your meal.
