If you’re visiting Seattle, I recommend heading over to Bainbridge Island. Your trip will provide many photo ops (depending on the weather) and a chance to experience great coffee.
While you might want to head over to Blackbird Bakery, I highly recommend visiting The Pegasus Coffee House. With nicely roasted local coffee and a cozy place to grab more than a bite – you’ll find yourself in a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy your visit to the Island.
Their roasted beans are just as good as any beans in Seattle. I enjoy the cafe’s cozy atmosphere – a lot of wood in the interior always makes a place feel like home. I believe it’s a great place to rest a little bit while you are exploring Bainbridge island. The staff is genuinely friendly and polite – I ordered a Latte and some of their baked goods. It’s apparent that the coffee shop management is superb – it shows in their service, the quality of their coffee, and food. I absolutely love everything!
Just a 30 minute ferry ride, a visit to Bainbridge Island will make for a perfect half-day outing. For more information on the ferries, click here.
